REY SWIMWEAR

When fashion designer Jessica Rey visited the beach and curled her feet in the sand, she looked around and felt she could make a difference. Well at least with swimwear. So she looked to the past and developed a swimwear line which bears less to reveal more.

Rey took a cue from her favourite fashion icon and silver screen actress, Audrey Hepburn, as inspiration for pieces that just sparkle with femininity and maturity. Little surprise her collection is aptly named after Hepburn`s most beloved characters—Holly, Jo, Eliza, Sabrina, and Gaby.

Her line, called Rey Swimwear, also offers cutie-pie polka dot boyshorts and hipsters, also available in funky prints and solids, as well as skirts.

Rey Swimwear proves modest vintage can still rule sands
January 24, 2009 (USA)

In a society were fads fade quickly, actress and model Jessica Rey captures timeless beauty for those radiant days under the sun.

Inspired by the classic Audrey Hepburn, Rey creates a swim line that captures the style, grace and joy of one of the world's most beloved women.

"I looked back in history to a time when women valued their bodies and dressed like it and decided to design [my] own suit," she says.

Rey Swimwear's 2008 collection, aptly entitled "Audrey", features styles named after several of Hepburn's daring characters- Holly, Jo, Eliza, Sabrina, and Gaby.

Made from high quality tricot and poly spandex, the line features stylish tankinis, with bottoms to mix-and-match as well as swimdresses, allowing each woman to create a style all her own. Swimsuits are tailored to ensure a flattering silhouette in standard sizes, with custom sizing also available. Ordering is made easy with a simple checkout option on Rey Swimwear's website.

"You don't have to be half-naked to look beautiful... in fact, most of us look better when we're a bit more covered up!" Rey adds.

Remember that your next swimsuit doesn't always have to be itsy bitsy.
